Profile of Mr. Jitendra K Saini
Jitendra
opened his eyes in the world in the midst of sweet smells of flowers
and attars, being extracted in his own courtyard.
After
being graduated from Kanpur University, his quest for knowledge
did not end and for the sake of his knowledge he joined various
courses and even obtained the B. Pharma Degree, Took complete
training of Steam Distillation Process, Extraction of Herbs and
Natural Auroma Therapy, in various Governmental Institutions situated
in the wide spread mountains of Himalayas. Besides, personal experiences
of his fathers and fore fathers, he also remains in touch with
the latest developments in the trade.
In
order to compete with well equipped latest technology, without
hampering the quality, he went on the training of usage latest
equipments, through which extractions/distillations can be done.
But, where he has observed any deterioration in the quality, he
has switched back to old traditional methods.
Extracting
of Attars being the family business, Mr. Saini has been all the
elder male members of his family involved in the trade of extraction
of attars right from his childhood.
Human
Values from his point of view – Mr Jitendra strongly believe
that all his employees should live a better life. As such, there
is no differentiation in the wages being paid to male and female
employees in his company. Female are being given half-an-hour
extra lunch hour and are allowed to leave their work half an hour
before than the schedule timings of their male co-workers. He
has arranged for the scholarship for the children of those employees,
where both husband and wife are earning their bread and butter
from the company.
Though
child labour has now been declared illegal in this country, Mr
Jitendra never believed in Child labour. Due to his likeness to
gain knowledge, right from childhood, he had stopped child labour
in the company, even for plucking of flowers, where soft hands
are required. He instead has started scholarships to the children,
who really wants to study.
After
the sad demise of his father, in the year 1998, Mr Jitendra was
compelled to start looking into the family business at the very
young age. By the using latest techniques in the trade, Mr. Jitendra
has added new chapter to the book of traditional business of his
family.
